About BitPinas
BitPinas is a Philippine crypto and fintech publication launched in 2017 and one of the longest running crypto news sites in the country. It covers bitcoin and public chains, blockchain games and NFTs, regulatory developments and local trading platforms, mainly for readers in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia.
Beyond news and interviews, the site maintains several continuously updated indexes: a directory of licensed exchanges, a tracker of regulatory frameworks and enforcement actions, a watchlist of regulator warnings, and a guide to reporting scams that lists the evidence to preserve and the channels that accept complaints. The newsroom publishes a conflict-of-interest policy stating that advertising, affiliate deals and sponsorship do not shape coverage; staff may hold crypto assets but must disclose positions that could affect how a story is judged, and figures and quotations in reporting are traced back to primary sources.
BitPinas is the longest-running crypto outlet in the Philippines, covering regulation, local exchanges and onchain applications. In February 2026 the team interviewed TON Foundation's payments lead around Consensus Hong Kong; on June 27 it became official media partner of Spotlight Blockchain Impact 2026 in Manila; on June 20 and 21 it covered Philippine Blockchain Week, which drew more than 12,000 attendees and 150 speakers.
Revenue comes from advertising, content operations and brand partnerships, with readers concentrated among Philippine and Southeast Asian practitioners and regulatory watchers. Its differentiation is first-hand tracking of local policy, and its reporting is frequently cited by local exchanges and compliance firms.
Future strategy and roadmap: while keeping the longest-running record in the Philippines, BitPinas plans to expand podcasts and video, strengthen regulatory coverage and extend into Southeast Asian creator economy and onchain data verticals. The risk is a limited local ad pool and direct competition with global outlets for English readers.
