About Bebop

Bebop, incubated by Wintermute, debuted at CoinDesk's Consensus conference on June 9, 2022, introducing a whitelist for early users. It subsequently launched on Ethereum and Polygon, offering multi-token trades with zero slippage and full fee transparency. A pivotal milestone was the release of Bebop JAM (Just-in-Time Aggregation Model), an auction system where independent solvers compete to execute user intents, ensuring optimal prices and deeper liquidity. This model also powers its expansion to BNB Chain, enabling gas-free trades and arbitrage protection while maintaining guaranteed prices. These developments mark Bebop's evolution from a simple aggregator to an intent-based liquidity layer, broadening access to efficient decentralized trading across multiple chains.

Bebop (bebop.xyz) has made significant strides in H1 2026. In March, it launched on Berachain's bArtio testnet, supporting the Proof-of-Liquidity chain. May saw the introduction of bopAMM (Block Oracle Priced AMM), a hybrid model combining RFQ with AMM mechanics, designed to deliver professional-grade execution onchain. June brought a partnership with Definitive Finance, a non-custodial platform built by ex-Coinbase institutional engineers, with over $180M settled and 200,000+ trades. In July, Bebop added support for tBRL and tMXN, transparent yield products from Tenbin Labs, offering 13% APY on BRL and 7% on MXN. A whale trading analysis showed Bebop outperforming onchain pools with 5.7x deeper liquidity and better fill prices. Looking ahead, Bebop's roadmap focuses on expanding bopAMM adoption, deepening institutional integrations, and broadening asset coverage across emerging markets and tokenized real-world assets, while maintaining its edge in execution quality and liquidity depth.
