Details

Beanstalk is a decentralized stablecoin protocol built on Arbitrum that issues Bean, an algorithmic stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US Dollar. It does not rely on collateral but instead adjusts supply through a credit mechanism: when Bean's price is above the peg, the protocol mints new Beans and rewards depositors; when below, it issues debt (Pods) and attracts users to deposit Beans in exchange for future yields, thereby reducing circulation. The protocol uses the EIP-2535 Diamond standard, splitting functions into multiple facets for upgradeability and efficient interaction.
