Details

Bahamut is an EVM-compatible Layer1 blockchain that adopts a novel Proof of Stake and Activity (PoSA) consensus mechanism. It introduces an "activity" parameter based on the gas consumed by smart contracts deployed by validators, combining staking and activity to determine validator ranking and rewards, thereby incentivizing high-quality, widely-used contracts. The network has an average block time of about 10 seconds, fast transaction finality, and gas fees paid in FTN. Developers can seamlessly migrate or deploy dApps using Ethereum tools such as Remix, Hardhat, and Web3.js, while users can connect via wallets like MetaMask.
