About Auradine

Auradine, now operating as Velaura AI, focuses on silicon design and intellectual property (IP) for energy-efficient AI computing. Its core offering, Titan Core, is a platform of pre-designed circuit building blocks and software tools that help chipmakers create low-voltage AI accelerators. The company does not manufacture chips itself; instead, it licenses these designs to other firms.

The main problem it addresses is the growing power crunch in data centers. As AI models expand, electricity consumption has become a bigger bottleneck than raw computing power. Velaura claims its low-voltage technology can cut energy use for matrix calculations—the core of AI workloads—by 2 to 4 times, saving up to 500 watts per chip. This translates into lower cooling and electricity costs for large-scale computing facilities.

Over the past six months, the company completed its transition from a Bitcoin mining hardware maker to an AI-focused IP provider. It launched Titan Core in March 2026 and has been working with several hyperscale cloud providers to integrate the technology into their next-generation chip designs. However, the business model carries risks: licensing revenue typically takes 18 to 36 months to materialize, and the company still holds inventory from its former mining business, which has seen declining demand. While the pivot is strategically sound, near-term financial pressure remains.

Auradine, a U.S.-based network infrastructure company, has marked several milestones with long-term significance. In 2023, it launched the Teraflux Bitcoin miner series, featuring the world's first 4nm chip and an energy efficiency of 9.8 J/TH, setting a new industry benchmark. In 2025, the company completed a $153 million Series C funding round led by StepStone Group, bringing total capital raised to over $300 million, which will accelerate its expansion into AI and blockchain infrastructure. Additionally, Lip-Bu Tan, former Intel director and semiconductor industry veteran, joined the board, strengthening its strategic guidance. A key commercial validation came when MARA Holdings advanced $73.3 million for Teraflux miners in H1 2025, with all deliveries fulfilled, reflecting growing adoption of U.S.-made mining equipment. These events highlight Auradine's role in advancing energy-efficient mining technology and reshaping the supply chain for Bitcoin infrastructure.
