About Asula
Asula is a Bitcoin-focused fintech whose core product is a money app. It targets slow and costly cross-border transfers, bank access restrictions, and savings, investing and payments scattered across separate apps. Accounts are identified by username, stablecoins and bitcoin send over Solana, and the app offers stablecoin savings yield, tokenised US equity trading, hardware wallet pairing and self-custody; cross-chain stablecoin balances consolidate into one account and the app pays transaction fees, so users need no native token.
Replacing addresses with usernames and gas with sponsorship is the standard way to hide on-chain mechanics behind a payment experience, with the hard parts being compliance and reserve management. It reached the Android store in July 2026 and updated to version 2.17.0 on 30 September, still in early access with invitation and waitlist onboarding.
