About Ambire

Ambire is a Web3 smart wallet that focuses on making crypto management simpler and more accessible. Its core business is a non-custodial wallet that works across major EVM networks like Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Arbitrum, Scroll, BNB Chain, and Gnosis, with plans to add Bitcoin and Solana. The wallet automatically detects tokens, supports batch transactions, and lets users pay gas fees with various tokens. Its key narrative is enabling smart wallet features on regular accounts through EIP-7702, which means users can keep their existing addresses while gaining advanced capabilities like transaction batching and sponsored gas. This addresses the market pain points of fragmented asset management across chains, high gas costs, and the complexity of token approvals. In the past six months, Ambire reported significant transaction growth, introduced a retry button for failed swaps, and gained attention when the Ethereum Foundation forked its codebase for a prototype wallet focused on interoperability and privacy. The team also continued working on features like private transfers and unified balances across chains. No major negative incidents were reported during this period.

Updated: Aug 29, 2026

Ambire evolved from a private beta to a public launch, integrating EIP-7702 to enable smart account features for existing EOAs, including transaction batching and gas abstraction. It also migrated its staking token from $xWALLET to $stkWALLET, introducing a dynamic rebasing model. These milestones mark its shift toward broader accessibility and long-term ecosystem sustainability.

Updated: Aug 31, 2026

Positive:

The community passed a proposal to reduce Swap & Bridge fees, giving $stkWALLET holders tiered discounts up to zero, enhancing holding benefits; a proposal to restore 2% APY staking rewards was introduced to encourage long-term holding.

Negative:

Ambire Rewards Season 2 missed its volume target, and the community voted to distribute no rewards, disappointing market expectations.
