About Allium

Allium is a blockchain data infrastructure company. Its core business is to extract, clean, and standardize raw data from over 150 blockchains, allowing enterprises to query it directly via SQL or APIs without building their own indexing and analytics systems. It provides a cross-chain data platform and developer APIs covering stablecoins, DEXs, lending, and other use cases.

Its core competitiveness lies in "trustworthy data." Much of the industry relies on community-maintained data that is messy and error-prone. Allium claims SOC certification and extremely low data deviation, and it separates real economic activity in stablecoin transfers from noise such as arbitrage and wash trading, helping institutions make accurate judgments.

The market pain point is clear: raw blockchain data is unusable—RPCs are unstable, chain formats differ, and reorgs occur. Every company ends up reinventing the wheel. Allium solves these dirty problems centrally by providing a unified, reliable data source.

In the past six months, Allium submitted a comment letter to the U.S. SEC in August 2026, arguing that the existing Reg NMS rule, which relies solely on price to compare execution quality, is no longer sufficient. It recommended a unified execution-quality measurement and disclosure framework covering both traditional finance and on-chain markets. This regulatory engagement marks an extension of its influence from the data layer to the rule-making layer. No major negative events were found.

Allium was founded in late 2021 by Ethan Chan and Cheng Han Lee to build a "system of record" for onchain finance, addressing the fragmentation and unreliability of blockchain data for institutional use.

In its early stage, the team built proprietary data pipelines to normalize raw blockchain events into standardized, queryable formats, expanding coverage to 150+ chains and 10,000+ protocols, managing over 30PB of data.

In July 2024, Allium closed a $16.5M Series A led by Theory Ventures, with Kleiner Perkins and Amplify Partners participating; Tomasz Tunguz joined the board. This round accelerated its data infrastructure and enterprise market expansion.

In 2026, the company raised a $40M Series B led by Amplify Partners, with Visa and BCG participating, bringing total funding to ~$61.5M. Revenue grew 10x in two years after Series A, with customers including Visa, Stripe, Coinbase, Uniswap, Phantom, and Grayscale; its data has been cited by the Federal Reserve and Stanford.

Long term, Allium turns raw blockchain exhaust into trusted records, serving as the data layer for institutional applications like stablecoin payments and tokenized assets.

Over the past six months (Mar–Sep 2026), Allium advanced its institutional data infrastructure. On Mar 17, it partnered with Walrus to publish 65TB of encrypted blockchain data (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Sui, Arbitrum, Tron, XRP), unlockable on purchase by humans or AI agents . On Jun 23, Allium announced a $40M Series B led by Amplify Partners, with Kleiner Perkins and Theory Ventures; revenue has grown >10x since Series A, with 150+ enterprise clients . It also launched or co-launched analytics dashboards including Visa Onchain Analytics, BCG Digital Assets Intelligence Hub, and Hyperliquid/Polymarket/Monad metrics . Looking ahead, Allium positions itself as the “system of record” for onchain finance, focusing on standardized, finance-ready data, Terminal APIs/dashboards, and infrastructure for AI/agentic commerce and stablecoin/tokenized-asset workflows .
