About Addicted
Addicted is a browser-based onchain management game on Solana built by Pandemic Labs, themed on a drug-trade simulation. Players pay 0.5 SOL to open a level-one farm, where the hash power generated by crops sets the rate of token output; output buys booster packs containing level 1 to 10 crops, extra slots and facility upgrades, and planting, pack opening, upgrades and black-market trades are all written onchain. Entry is invite-only, each participant's share of hash power dilutes as more players join, and returns depend on entry timing. Season two, Cartel War, switches to a seven-day survival format: players enter with a 0.5 SOL golden ticket, use daily quests, temporary alliances and betrayal to eliminate rivals, and the last survivor takes a $300,000 prize pool.
Three hours after its late-September 2025 launch it recorded about $2 million in volume, and market value reached roughly $80 million within 36 hours before falling to about $15 million; the team reported over 25,000 players and about 113,000 packs sold within days. The developer has said publicly that a single season usually lasts only a few weeks.
