About B.AI
B.AI is an infrastructure project designed to give AI agents their own financial capabilities. Its core business is building a payment, identity, and DeFi layer for AI agents, allowing them to pay, earn, and manage assets independently.
The main market pain point it addresses is that AI agents currently cannot conduct economic activities on their own—they rely on human accounts and manual operations. B.AI solves this through several technical standards: x402 enables lightweight on-chain micro-payments for AI agents; the 8004 protocol provides on-chain digital identities for agents, turning transaction history into verifiable credit; and MCP Server/Skills act as a communication bridge, translating complex blockchain operations into simple instructions AI can understand. This lets agents automatically participate in lending, token swaps, and yield generation.
In the past six months (2026-02-28 to 2026-08-29), B.AI officially launched its Bank of AI product in February 2026, initially supporting TRON and BNB Chain. By April, it rebranded to B.AI and went live with expanded features, including an LLM access gateway, agent wallet, and a desktop assistant called BAIclaw with over 70 skills. User numbers grew from 390,000 in February to over 420,000 by the end of the period. No significant negative events were reported during this timeframe.
B.AI has progressed through several milestones with long-term significance. User growth has been a key indicator, with the platform surpassing 1.7 million users, signaling strong market acceptance and laying the foundation for a self-sustaining AI agent economy. The integration of mainstream domestic payment systems, including WeChat Pay, Alipay, and UnionPay, marked a critical step in bridging Web2 and Web3 financial rails, enabling frictionless access for a broader user base. The strategic cooperation with USDD, a major stablecoin, further solidified B.AI's position in the crypto-native ecosystem, facilitating stable-value settlements for AI agents. On the model front, DeepSeek-V4 becoming the primary execution engine demonstrated B.AI's ability to adapt to high-performance, cost-effective open-source models, enhancing the platform's intelligence layer. Additionally, the launch of the first Sun Yuchen thinking-perspective Skill introduced a unique, personality-driven AI capability, showcasing the platform's innovative approach to differentiating agent behaviors. These developments collectively represent B.AI's evolution from a model aggregator into a comprehensive financial and identity infrastructure for autonomous AI agents.
B.AI (ainft.com) has made significant strides in H1 2026. In April, it launched its full-stack infrastructure for autonomous AI agents, integrating the x402 payment standard for HTTP-level machine-to-machine transactions, the ERC-8004 on-chain identity protocol, MCP Server for AI-blockchain interaction, and Skills modules for DeFi operations (e.g., SunSwap, JustLend). The platform initially supported TRON and BNB Chain. In May, B.AI expanded deposit support to include HTX and WBTC across TRON, BNB Chain, and Ethereum, broadening its multi-chain footprint. The official roadmap emphasizes scaling to 8 major public blockchains, deepening DeFi protocol integrations, and advancing toward AGI by enabling agents to autonomously manage assets, settle payments, and coordinate via verifiable on-chain identities. Future focus includes enhancing the x402 payment loop, expanding Skills library, and fostering a self-sustaining agent economy.
