About AO
Since its launch, AO (an Arweave-based scalable blockchain network) has gone through several key milestones.
On February 8, 2024, the AO mainnet officially went live, marking its transition from testnet to real-world application. Prior to this, AO introduced ArFleet, a temporary data storage solution, providing flexible data management capabilities for the network.
In the AI field, AO launched the 'AI on AO' program, introducing on-chain open-source large language models, showcasing its potential in AI computing. In terms of token economics, AO announced its allocation plan: 36% to AR holders and 64% to cross-chain users, a design aimed at incentivizing ecosystem participation.
Furthermore, AO's cross-chain bridging activities have made significant progress, with over $100 million in stETH deposited into AO, and total value locked (TVL) once exceeding $200 million, reflecting market trust and demand for AO. These events together constitute important milestones in AO's development, laying the foundation for its future expansion and applications.
