About 33DAO
33DAO is a Chinese-language research DAO producing sector analysis, project studies and data work, distributing information through weekly notes, deep reports and online interviews while offering projects interpretation and events for Chinese-speaking audiences.
It targets the depth gap for Chinese readers, where news flashes are plentiful but analysis connecting mechanics, data and competitive structure is scarce. A research DAO shares writing and fact-checking across the community and moves faster than traditional institutions. The limit is monetization: content is free and revenue comes from member dues, while members are mostly part-time and quality swings with volunteer effort; governance and decision-making are only partly transparent, making influence hard to measure. Some reports involve content partnerships with projects, so independence is for readers to judge.
33DAO was co-founded by Feng Mi, Mike8848, H and others, centered on Web3 education, research, and investment analysis, gradually becoming an influential boutique research DAO in the Chinese-speaking world. Since its inception, it has adhered to weekly all-member meetings, holding over 200 such meetings in four years, establishing a stable mechanism of co-creation, co-building, and sharing. The team has published over 500 articles including research reports, tutorials, and crypto weekly newsletters, amassing more than 700K followers on social media, solidifying systematic airdrop research capabilities. In August 2023, 33DAO participated in Puffer's seed round, extending its research capabilities to primary market investments; earlier, it achieved notable results in early projects like ARB and Starknet through deep research and community collaboration.
