Binance stated that its security team successfully identified and prevented multiple cyberattacks related to North Korea in the past week, without causing damage to the company's systems or loss of assets. Binance pointed out that North Korean hacker groups have recently been continuously conducting social engineering attack activities named Contagious Interview.

This activity uses scenarios such as fake job interviews, code testing, and software installation to lure targets into running malicious programs. Binance reminds users to avoid installing unauthorized software or executing code from unknown sources and stated that it will continue to strengthen security monitoring, threat identification, and internal security management.
