According to DefiLlama data, as of October 21, 2026, the DeFi sector has recorded 43 price manipulation attacks, surpassing the previous annual record of 27 in 2022.
The total related losses amount to approximately $199 million, lower than the loss scale of some years, with the Tectonic case alone accounting for about $124.5 million. Among the remaining 42 cases, 32 had individual losses of less than $1 million.
