Apollo Chief Economist: AI has not brought returns to non-tech American companies

Apollo Global Management's Chief Economist Torsten Slok stated that despite companies investing heavily in artificial intelligence, AI has not yet brought tangible returns to U.S. businesses outside the technology sector. Slok pointed out that the per capita income of employees in 493 companies in the S&P 500 index remains flat, and corporate profit margins have not seen growth.
