The BNB Chain development team announced that the BNB Smart Chain testnet will undergo the Jenner hard fork upgrade on October 28. Validators, node operators, block builders, and application developers need to start preparing for the upgrade.

The Jenner upgrade includes the Payment Lane feature, which defaults to reserving 5% of block Gas for eligible payments.
