Bitcoin Magazine posted on X that El Salvador today purchased an additional 1 Bitcoin for its strategic Bitcoin reserves, bringing its total holdings to 7,807 Bitcoins.
El Salvador adopted Bitcoin as legal tender in September 2021 and the government has promoted national-level Bitcoin holdings, with the related reserves referred to as strategic Bitcoin reserves.
