Blockchain.com seeks CFTC license, plans to launch derivatives and prediction market services in the U.S

Cryptocurrency exchange Blockchain.com is applying for a license from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to seek both exchange registration and futures broker registration in order to offer derivatives and prediction market services in the United States.

The aforementioned services will be aimed at retail and institutional clients, and the business planned to be launched in the United States still requires regulatory approval.
