Trump reported buying shares of Coinbase and Strategy
On September 24, BlockBeats cited a periodic trading report disclosed by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE), stating that Trump reported purchasing Class A shares of Coinbase valued between $1,001 and $15,000 on July 24, and on July 24 and 27, he purchased Class A shares of Strategy valued between $1,001 and $15,000 and $50,000 to $100,000, respectively. The report also indicated that he had previously sold Class A shares of Strategy valued between $1,001 and $15,000 on July 8.
The report further showed that on July 29, Trump sold shares of the Bitcoin mining companies CleanSpark and MARA valued between $15,000 and $50,000, respectively. The White House has previously responded multiple times, stating that Trump's stock and bond investment portfolio is independently managed by third-party financial institutions, and Trump and his family cannot instruct, influence, or provide opinions on specific investments and trading timing.
