Stellar Announces Upgrade to Community Fund

Stellar has announced the upgrade of its community fund with the launch of Stellar Community Fund v7.0, aimed at accelerating ecosystem growth and helping developers scale faster. It is reported that the fund has been operational for six and a half years, and this upgrade comes after successfully conducting the SCF Pilot vote through Soroban Governor, to adapt to network maturity and developer needs.

SCF v7.0 will adjust and optimize the funding disbursement method to encourage execution, speed, and delivery. Specifically, the funding grants will be disbursed as follows: 10% will be paid upon granting, 20% will be paid at the mid-development milestone stage, 30% will be paid at the advanced product readiness stage (testnet), and 40% will be paid at the mainnet launch verification and user experience readiness stage.
