Wormhole announced the W token 2 upgrade plan, introducing three core changes: the establishment of the Wormhole Reserve strategic reserve pool, providing a target base yield of 4%, and optimizing the token unlocking mechanism from annual to bi-weekly unlocking.

The new plan will be implemented starting October 3, aiming to enhance ecosystem value accumulation and token market stability. It is worth noting that the total supply of W tokens remains unchanged at 10 billion, with the current circulation of approximately 4.76 billion.
