according to the official blog, Pyth Network announced that it has been selected by the U.S. Department of Commerce for the verification and distribution of on-chain economic data.

Through its collaboration with Pyth, the U.S. Department of Commerce is doing much more than just releasing one-time data; it is laying the groundwork for a strategic partnership between the Department and the Pyth Network. Pyth will initially provide quarterly GDP data for the past five years, and Pyth's contributors expect to expand this initiative to support a broader set of economic data.
