August 27, according to Crowdfundinsider, the decentralized finance platform Centrifuge announced the completion of a new round of financing, with participation from Republic Digital, a digital banking and investment platform under Republic. The new funds will be used to integrate regulated digital assets and decentralized infrastructure to facilitate the transfer, pooling, and liquidity of real-world assets (RWA).

Republic Digital has not disclosed the specific scale of this investment but stated that it will work with Centrifuge to make RWA the foundation of the next generation financial system.
