ChainCatcher news, according to Chainwire, Nasdaq-listed company GameSquare Holdings (NASDAQ: GAME) announced the acquisition of CryptoPunk #5577 from DeFi protocol Compound founder Robert Leshner for $5.15 million in preferred stock. This marks GameSquare's first direct investment in NFTs.
GameSquare currently holds approximately 12,913.49 ETH, with a total value of Ethereum assets around $52 million.
