Stacks launches sBTC Cap-2, increasing the total deposit cap to 3000 BTC

the Stacks social platform announced that it has launched sBTC Cap-2, increasing the deposit limit by an additional 2,000 BTC on top of the existing 1,000 BTC limit, bringing the total to 3,000 BTC.

ChainCatcher previously reported that Stacks announced on X that sBTC has gone live on the Stacks mainnet. sBTC achieves trustlessness, security, and transparency through 1:1 Bitcoin backing, institutional signature networks, and Bitcoin hash power support, facilitating the Bitcoin DeFi ecosystem. In the initial phase, only deposits are supported, with a liquidity cap of 1,000 BTC, offering annual rewards of up to 5%.
