Abstract: Launch of the account abstraction-driven smart contract wallet AGW.

ChainCatcher news, encrypted KOL cygaar posted on X, stating that Abstract has launched the Abstract Global Wallet (AGW), "We are building a brand new chain-level experience—users will never need to download extensions, and applications can seamlessly be 'plug and play'." AGW leverages multiple features of Abstract's native account abstraction protocol.

According to reports, AGW aims to address issues such as fragmentation, unclear user experiences, and opaque transaction flows. At its core, AGW is a smart contract wallet driven by account abstraction. AGW will utilize multiple AA features to enhance the user experience.

The default signer for AGW will be an embedded wallet powered by Privy. Privy allows users to log in seamlessly via social media, email, passwords, or existing EOAs. The Privy signer will initiate transactions on behalf of the AGW smart account and will also be able to provide real-time transaction simulations and fraud prevention at the point of transaction. The team will also allow users to control AGW in the future using existing EOAs and passwords.
