Stephanie Pop joins the BRV team from Human API, a BRV portfolio company. As Chief Operating Officer, Steph oversees all back office operations. After completing her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of British Columbia, Steph co-founded a medical device company in Vancouver, Canada. Following a move to the Bay Area, she spent time as an early employee at HealthTap and Ginger.io, two venture-backed health technology companies. In 2014, Steph joined Human API as a Co-Founder and helped scale the organization in a variety of operational roles.

Brian Fu is the co-founder of zkLend and graduated from the University of British Columbia.

John Malloy

John Malloy is a General Partner and co-founder of BlueRun Ventures. He focuses on mobile software and services opportunities across both consumer and enterprise businesses. John has been an integral part of the explosive growth phases of major services & brands such as Friends & Family, NOKIA, PAYPAL and WAZE. As a VC, John was the first venture investor in PayPal (IPO 2002 & eBay), Waze (GOOG), Topsy (AAPL), Slide (GOOG), Bitfone (HP), Chomp (AAPL) and others. Some of his current investments include HumanAPI, Kitman and AlwaysAI. Prior to starting BlueRun Ventures, John held executive and operating roles at NOKIA, MCI and co-founded Go Communications. He holds a J.D. from George Mason University and a B.A. from Boston College.

Alex Sismanis

Alex Sismanis is CTO and co-founder of L1 Advisors and former CTO of Ben.co. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia.

Christine Kim

Christine Kim is Vice President of Research at Galaxy Digital and formerly a research analyst at CoindDesk. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BA in International Relations and Economics, and her interests include writing and researching emerging technologies.

Jonathan Ebinger

Jonathan is a general partner of BlueRun Ventures. Over his 20 years at the firm he has led investments in Coupa Software (NASD: COUP), Kabbage (American Express), Enpocket (Nokia), as well as Jackpocket, Paystand, FreeAgent, and numerous other early stage companies. Jonathan also has 15 years of marketing and finance experience in the telecommunications industry. Jonathan was the Vice President of Marketing for Qwest Communications, and held other senior level positions at Bell Atlantic Internet Solutions and MCI Communications. In addition, Jonathan founded and successfully exited Simply Savings, Inc., an early internet shopping service. He received his M.B.A. from Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, and holds a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech.

James Ho

James Ho is Head of Animoca Ventures. Since joining Animoca Group in 2018, James directly managed or originated early investments into numerous Web3 companies (including Yield Guild Games, Opensea, Magic Eden, Matic and Immutable X). Many of these companies are today the giants in the Web3 space, and more than a few have achieved unicorn status.
