Sam Englebardt

Sam Englebardt is Partner at Galaxy and the Founding General Partner of Galaxy Interactive. Sam is a media and technology investor and content producer who has created, acquired and/or financed a broad range of traditional and digital businesses and dozens of films and television shows over the past decade. Prior to Galaxy, he was a Partner and Managing Director at Lambert Media Group (LMG) from 2007 - 2016, where he sourced and managed a portfolio of media-sector private equity investments. Before LMG, he was a Vice President and Financial Advisor at Alliance Bernstein. Sam has been a prolific content producer throughout his career and spent three years running LMG portfolio company, Demarest Films. A licensed attorney in California, Englebardt earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and studied philosophy, political science and economics at Oxford University and the University of Colorado at Boulder, from which he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

Richard Kim

Richard Kim is General Partner at Galaxy Interactive. Richard’s experience spans investing, trading, law, finance, management and strategy. He joined Galaxy as COO in May 2018, before joining Galaxy Interactive in Dec 2018. Prior to Galaxy, he was the COO of Global Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets Trading at Goldman Sachs from 2015-18. From 2012-15, he worked at J.P. Morgan, where he was the Co-COO of Global Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets Trading, and prior to that was the COO of J.P. Morgan’s electronic trading franchise for FX/EM. From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a derivatives and regulation attorney at J.P. Morgan. From 2007-10, he worked as an attorney in Cleary Gottlieb’s financial products and markets group. Richard also served as an adjunct professor at New York Law School. He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2007 and studied philosophy and economics at the University of Washington, from which he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 2004 at the age of 18.

Leon Marshall

Leon Marshall is the CEO Europe at Galaxy Digital. Presively he was Managing Director, Global Head of Sales at Genesis, Strategy and Business Development at Gnosis. He graduated from Oxford University in the United Kingdom and New York University in the United States.

Cameron Winklevoss

Cameron Winklevoss is the Co-founder and President of Gemini, a next-generation Bitcoin exchange. He graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Economics and earned an MBA from Oxford University. In 2008, he represented the United States at the Olympics Games in Beijing, China, where he placed 6th. Since 2003, Cameron has been an angel investor and entrepreneur in emerging technologies. He began participating in the Bitcoin economy through direct investment in 2012.

Geoff Hamilton

Geoff is an Investment Research Partner at Variant, where he focuses primarily on DeFi. Prior to joining Variant, Geoff spent 15 years investing in private and public companies. During that time, helped start and grow five investment firms, including Askesis Capital, Dayah Capital, Sachem Head Capital Management, and Conatus Capital. Before that, Geoff worked at Bain Capital and Bain & Company and studied Economics at Harvard.

James Hutchins

James is the Co-founder and Managing Partner at NIV. He leads the firm’s research efforts, and is passionate about leveraging data to uncover new trends, inform investment decisions, and support portfolio companies. James has been a full-time crypto investor since 2018, and was previously Head of Research at Coatue Management. He holds an AB in Economics from Harvard.

David Bonanno

David Bonanno is chief strategy officer at Bullish and was previously chief financial officer at Far Peak Acquisition Corp. He holds a BA in psychology from Harvard University.

Li Jin is the co-founder of Variant Fund and the founder of Atelier Ventures. Prior to that, Li Jin was a partner at Andreessen Horowitz (a16z).

Glenn Hutchins

Glenn is co-founder and Chairman at NIV. Previously, he co-founded the private equity firm Silver Lake. He is currently a director of AT&T, Co-Chair of the Brookings Institution, Chair of CARE, and Vice Chair of the Obama Foundation. He was a Director and Chair of Audit and Risk Committee of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from 2011-2020. Glenn founded the Hutchins Family Foundation which has created the Hutchins Center for African & African American Research at Harvard University and the Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy at The Brookings Institution. He holds an AB from Harvard College, a JD from Harvard Law School, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Will Roller

Will Roller is Head of Growth at Hyperline and was previously Head of Product at Multiplyr and a member of the founding team at Affine DeFi. He graduated from Harvard University.
