Sach Chitnis

Details

Prior to co-founding Jump Capital in 2012, Sach held various investment and operational roles. His extensive operational experience includes companies in digital media, drug research, logistics, and other technology/service industries. Prior to joining Jump, he was an Operating Partner at Tarsus and, before that, the Consumer Mobility Director at SIRVA (IPO: NYSE, 2003). His career began with several management programs at GE, where he held functional roles in product management and M&A at GE and SIRVA. Sach received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester and an MBA from Northwestern Kellogg. Areas of interest include enterprise software, fintech, customer acquisition and conversion solutions, functional workflow automation solutions, and transformation of legacy industries.

Robert Hutchins

Robb is the Partner, Portfolio Growth at Jump Capital. Prior to Jump, Robb was a member of the Business Development team at Amazon, supporting the structure of various business teams. Robb earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.

Ola Jewusiak

Ola is the Director of Marketing at Jump, responsible for its marketing and communications strategy. Prior to joining Jump, she was the Global Director of Marketing at Livingstone and its cannabis-focused affiliate Sharp Capital, where she scaled the global marketing function and led the global team through a brand and website redesign, a CRM implementation, and a global events program launch. She was also the primary brand builder behind Sharp Capital, launching the brand in just six weeks in 2020. Before that, she was the first marketing hire at age tech startup Caremerge, where she launched a brand and website redesign, created video case studies, and was part of the Series C fundraising team. Ola's background includes brand building, B2B marketing, content strategy and execution, public relations, and event planning. She has a degree in Communication Studies and Journalism from the University of Iowa and has studied at Jagiellonian University in Poland. In her free time, she volunteers with One Tail at a Time and judges debate tournaments with Chicago Debates in partnership with the Chicago Public Schools. She enjoys wandering Chicago's lake shore with her dog Andy, overbuying books at one of Chicago's local bookstores, and attending comedy shows and live music events.

Michael McMahon

With over 20 years of executive and financial leadership experience, Mike has operated, advised, and invested in companies across a broad range of industries and stages, from startups to mature enterprises. Prior to co-founding Jump Capital, he was a senior partner for Excelar Group LLC, a provider of strategic execution and advisory services. He also served as President of SIRVA, a Clayton, Dubilier & Rice portfolio company. Mike spent sixteen years with GE and GE Capital in a range of financial, operating, and global assignments and is an honors graduate from GE's Financial Management and Leadership Development programs. Mike attended Pennsylvania State University, where he graduated with highest distinction, earning a BS in Finance. His areas of interest include FinTech, RetailTech, EdTech, and Enterprise Software.

Kasey Mitria

Kasey joined Jump in 2016 and is the Office Operations Manager. Prior to joining Jump, she was an Associate at GCM Grosvenor, where she spent two years supporting the Fund Finance Department. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, doing yoga, meditating, and is a connoisseur of all things gelato. Kasey graduated with honors from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies.

Will Nuñez

Will Nu?ez joins Jump Capital with rich experience in big data and analytics platforms, focused on researching and implementing emerging software, along with developing scalable data products across consulting, cyber security, finance, law, and sports/entertainment domains. His educational background includes an MS in analytics from the University of Chicago and a BS in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In this role, he will work across Jump Capital's investing areas, supporting research, data collection, and analysis efforts, while working closely with the investment team to identify unique, innovative founders to partner with.

Yelena Shkolnik

Yelena joined Jump in 2015 and is focused on new investments and current portfolio companies in media and enterprise software. Prior to joining Jump, she was an investor with MK Capital, where she sourced new opportunities and actively supported MK's portfolio companies, investing in enterprise software, cloud computing, and marketing technology. Before that, she was an associate with McNally Capital, where she focused on energy and closed an investment in the clean energy space. Before business school, Yelena was the finance manager for DreamWorks Studios, where she negotiated the studio's raise of new capital and the adoption of a new global licensing strategy. She began her career as an investment banker with UBS, advising companies in technology and media and raising over $1 billion in capital for clients. Yelena holds a BA in economics with honors from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Chicago Booth.

Saurabh Sharma

Saurabh Sharma is a General Partner at Jump Crypto, leading crypto and infrastructure investments. He is an ex-operator, ex-quant trader, theatre buff, Booth MBA, and Cornell CS graduate. Areas of interest include: - Blockchain - L1/L2 protocols, Web 3.0 Infrastructure, Decentralized/Open Finance, Scalability & Interoperability, Developer Tools, Digital Asset Management (Trading, Credit, Wealth Management) - Cloud Native IT Infrastructure - Data Management, Cybersecurity, ML powered Intelligent Applications.

Peter J. Carroll

Pete joined Jump Capital in 2016, bringing with him a solid background in commercial strategy and operational leadership. He was previously Principal and Operating Partner at Manasota Capital, having served as CEO and Board Member of one of its portfolio companies, RGB Lights. Before that, he was at RR Donnelley & Sons, where he held various strategic finance positions, such as corporate development, mergers & acquisitions, investor relations, and financial planning & analysis. He also worked at SIRVA, Inc. in operational roles, including product management, project management, six sigma quality, and the SIRVA Leadership Program. Pete holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Purdue University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

Trisha Degg

Trisha is the Vice President of Talent Platform at Jump, based in its Chicago office. She describes herself as a "People Person" with a capital "P" and a talent matchmaker. She has spent most of her career in the tech industry and is well-positioned to help Jump's portfolio companies develop and implement human resources and talent strategies for long-term growth and success. Before joining Jump, Trisha was the Head of People at Provi, a start-up in the alcoholic beverage ordering space, where she grew the team from 70 to 300+ employees in 15 months. Prior to that, she was the Head of Talent at Tempus, a healthcare tech company, where she managed a team of 8 and recruited up to 250 roles at a time. With 15 years of corporate recruiting, campus recruitment, and HR experience, Trisha is passionate about networking and finding new ways to locate talent. In her role at Jump Capital, she works with the heads of HR/Talent and founders at portfolio companies to develop and refine their procedures and processes. Her specialties include talent attraction and retention, organizational development, manager training, interview skills/resume writing, building and refining internship programs, and employment branding. Trisha holds a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences, Consumer Affairs from Eastern Illinois University. She was also a Professional Fellow with the U.S. Department of State, focusing on the economic empowerment and development of start-up communities in Eastern Europe. Additionally, she is a Board member and organizer of T4Youth, an annual tech community table tennis fundraiser for ChiTech Academy, a project-based STEM high school on Chicago's southwest side. A former boss described Trisha as having "hustle." When she's not hustling, she enjoys gardening, renovating her historic Chicago brick bungalow, and exploring the city's restaurants.

Jason Felger

Jason Felger is a partner and head of founder Support at Jump Capital. Previously, Jason was the CEO of Food Genius.
