He was also a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Guelph, focusing on applied machine learning for economic forecasting, and a Data Scientist at Preteckt, building ML models for predictive maintenance in transportation. Ethan holds a PhD in Machine Learning from Western University, with a focus on reinforcement learning.
