James Dyer is a highly experienced product leader with a diverse range of skills in product strategy, team building, customer discovery, end-to-end design, and technical development of web and mobile applications. He is currently the CEO and Co-founder of Ante, an innovative e-commerce wallet that makes customer returns effortless. Before this, James was the Head of Product and Co-founder of Decrypt, a Web3 media company that achieved 10+ million MAU. He has also worked at Formidable, ConsenSys, and LitePaper. James was awarded a 1st Class Honours degree in Information Management for Business, Computer Science and Management from UCL, and is the recipient of the McKinsey Schools Leadership Program award.

Terry Rossi

Terry Rossi is the Co-Founder & CEO at Woah. Previously, he was the investment director of Blockchange Ventures, a founding team member of Tachyon Accelerator, and an investment analyst at ConsenSys. He holds a BA in Computer Science from Princeton University.

Mason Nystrom

Mason is an Investment Partner at Variant. Prior to joining Variant, Mason was a Sr. Research Analyst at Messari focused on Web3 protocols and cryptoassets. Before Messari, Mason worked at ConsenSys as a Content Marketer focused on marketing strategy for ConsenSys and its portfolio companies. Mason first entered the crypto industry as an Analyst at Gatecoin, the first cryptocurrency exchange to list ether, Ethereum’s native cryptocurrency. Mason obtained his Master’s in Business Management at Hong Kong Baptist University.

Dan is the Editor in Chief at Variant. He has been writing about crypto since 2011. Prior to joining Variant, Dan was Editor in Chief at crypto news site Decrypt, where he recruited a team of writers and editors, led the site’s news strategy, created and hosted the gm podcast, planned and emceed live events, and moderated panels at conferences around the world. Before that, he spent five years at Yahoo Finance and five years at Fortune. He has written about tech, sports business, and books for a broad range of publications including Sports Illustrated, TIME, Vice, Air Mail, The Guardian, The Paris Review, NPR, Deadspin, Salon, The Daily Beast, The Morning News, and many more. He is the primary author of the 2013 book “Zoom: How to Supercharge Your Career.” He graduated from Middlebury College and the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.
