Jakob is the global CEO of GSR. Prior to joining GSR, he was Head of EMEA business at Two Sigma Investments and a board director of Two Sigma International. He has over a decade of experience developing business and investment solutions in systematic investment management, including roles at Winton Capital Management and Barclays Global Investors (BGI). Jakob holds a BSc in Economics from Lund University and has completed the MSc coursework in Economics (without dissertation). He also has a Ships Officers Degree, Class VIII from Chalmers University of Technology.

Nim Siriwardana

Nim Siriwardana is the Co-Founder & CTO at Metacask and former CTO of GSR and is responsible for trading platform development and integration. Nim has over 16 years of experience building software solutions and trading platforms in the financial services sector, including at Goldman Sachs in London and Source Capital AG in Zug. Nim has a master of engineering degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Southampton.

Richard Rosenblum

Rich is a Co-Founder and President of GSR, leading the group in strategic initiatives and growth. He began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he spent 11 years between New York and London in commodities trading as a Managing Director and Global Head of Crude Oil and Derivatives Trading. Before joining GSR, he worked on the buy-side, managing energy trading teams at two New York-based hedge funds. Rich holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Columbia University.

Cristian Gil

Cris is the Chairman of GSR. Prior to GSR, he worked as a commodities trader for nine years at Goldman Sachs in New York. Since then, he has managed an active portfolio of investments across the technology, real estate, hospitality, and media sectors. Cris obtained a degree in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

John MacDonald

John is the Chief Technology Officer of GSR. Prior to joining GSR, he spent five and a half years at Citadel Securities, where he held various technology leadership roles, such as Global Head of Derivatives Technology and Global Head of Fixed Income Technology. Before that, he spent 10 years at J.P. Morgan, where he was a Managing Director, running the Global Electronic Market Making Technology group. He started his career at Goldman Sachs, before joining Citadel to build an Options trading business. John graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Mathematics & Computation.

Eva Sanchez

Eva is the Chief Legal Officer of GSR and oversees the firm's legal, compliance, and regulatory policy affairs. Prior to joining GSR, she was at AQR Capital Management, leading the firm's international legal and compliance teams. At Citadel, she oversaw the growth of Citadel's hedge fund and securities business in Europe during a period of significant market structure and regulatory change. Eva began her legal career at Clifford Chance and earned a First Class Business & Law Degree from City University, London.
