He works as a software developer at the crypto exchange Huobi, is the founder of social of the token website ForeFront and even launched his own social token called $SWAGG. His background and story is extremely interesting and took him from the Cape Verde islands all the way to China and Silicon Valley. He has built an incredible website called forefront which acts as the the one stop shop for all things social tokens. Part coinmarketcap, part news platform and there is even a resource section to learn everything there is about social tokens.

Before establishing Huobi Group in 2013 and transforming it into one of the world's leading providers of financial services for digital assets, Leon was a computer engineer at Oracle, the world's largest database provider.

Mason is an Investment Partner at Variant. Prior to joining Variant, Mason was a Sr. Research Analyst at Messari focused on Web3 protocols and cryptoassets. Before Messari, Mason worked at ConsenSys as a Content Marketer focused on marketing strategy for ConsenSys and its portfolio companies. Mason first entered the crypto industry as an Analyst at Gatecoin, the first cryptocurrency exchange to list ether, Ethereum’s native cryptocurrency.
