David Plouffe, a Democratic strategist who has worked extensively in the tech sector in recent years, will join Coinbase's global advisory board. David Plouffe has previously served in a number of high-profile tech companies, including similar advisory roles at Uber, the Chan Zuckerberg Foundation, and rival cryptocurrency exchange Binance. He served as a senior adviser to Obama's first campaign and later in the White House. Last fall, he joined Harris's unsuccessful campaign.
