Carra Wu is a partner on the a16z Crypto Investment team. She focuses on gaming, metaverse, media, and DAO investments across crypto. Previously, she was a software engineer building AR/VR apps and games for the Hololens at Microsoft, and a product manager working on search systems and developer-facing products for the App Store. She got into crypto in 2017 while working for a data analytics startup. Carra studied Applied Math, Computer Science, and Economics at Harvard University, where she danced with the Harvard Ballet Company.

Chris Dixon is a partner at a16z and leads the investments of the a16z Crypto Fund. His investments in companies such as Coinbase have earned him the top spot on Forbes magazine's "2022 World's Best Venture Capitalists List".

Maggie Hsu

Maggie Hsu is a partner at Andreessen Horowitz leading go-to-market for the crypto portfolio. She previously led go-to-market for Amazon Managed Blockchain at Amazon Web Services, and before that led business development for AirSwap, a decentralized exchange. Maggie has held executive positions at Zappos.com and Hilton Worldwide. She was also a consultant at McKinsey and Company. Maggie is a cofounder of Gold House, a nonprofit collective of pioneering Asian leaders. She holds undergraduate and MBA degrees from Harvard University.

Cameron Winklevoss

Cameron Winklevoss is the Co-founder and President of Gemini, a next-generation Bitcoin exchange. He graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Economics and earned an MBA from Oxford University. In 2008, he represented the United States at the Olympics Games in Beijing, China, where he placed 6th. Since 2003, Cameron has been an angel investor and entrepreneur in emerging technologies. He began participating in the Bitcoin economy through direct investment in 2012. In addition to being President of Gemini, he and his brother Tyler are currently seeking SEC approval for the Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust, a Bitcoin ETF, and have launched the WinkDex, a Bitcoin price index that will price the ETF.

Ronny Conway

Ronny Conway is the Founder & General Partner at A.Capital. Prior to starting A.Capital, Ronny was one of the first Partners at Andreessen Horowitz, where he was the head of seed and early-stage investing and was involved in such high profile investments as Airbnb, Instagram, Optimizely, Pinterest, Dollar Shave Club and Twitter. Before a16z, Ronny spent six years at Google, and was one of the first employees at Google Ventures. Ronny has spent most of his life around venture capital, and received his bachelor’s degree from UCLA.

Ramu Arunachalam

Ramu Arunachalam is the General Partner at A.Capital. Ramu was most recently a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz. A computer scientist by training, Ramu has over a decade of operating experience in product management and engineering at both startups and public companies. Prior to Andreessen Horowitz, Ramu led new product initiatives in Big Data for Aster Data (acquired by Teradata). Earlier in his career, Ramu was an engineer at VMware and part of the team that developed the industry’s first virtual switch for VMware’s flagship ESX server product line. Ramu holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering (with University Honors) from Carnegie Mellon University.

Geoff Hamilton

Geoff is an Investment Research Partner at Variant, where he focuses primarily on DeFi. Prior to joining Variant, Geoff spent 15 years investing in private and public companies. During that time, helped start and grow five investment firms, including Askesis Capital, Dayah Capital, Sachem Head Capital Management, and Conatus Capital. Before that, Geoff worked at Bain Capital and Bain & Company and studied Economics at Harvard.

James Hutchins

James is the Co-founder and Managing Partner at NIV. He leads the firm’s research efforts, and is passionate about leveraging data to uncover new trends, inform investment decisions, and support portfolio companies. James has been a full-time crypto investor since 2018, and was previously Head of Research at Coatue Management. He holds an AB in Economics from Harvard.

David Bonanno

David Bonanno is chief strategy officer at Bullish and was previously chief financial officer at Far Peak Acquisition Corp. He holds a BA in psychology from Harvard University.
