Ann Stefan is the Co-Founder and COO of Cubist. She is an experienced strategic executive who has worked as a COO in the fintech sector for seven years in a high-risk consumer segment. Throughout her career, she has focused on expanding into new markets, developing products, and quickly scaling up early-stage SaaS and fintech companies. She has a broad range of technical and management skills, including risk management, product development, sales, marketing, customer support, and government contracts. Her main expertise is in payment processing, online payments fraud prevention, and anti-money laundering programs, which she has gained through years of building and managing a fintech risk team and product in-house. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical-Biological Engineering from MIT and is a member of the Board of Directors for First Generation Alumni of MIT.
