Who is the Fundraising section suitable for?
- Primary and secondary investors: Those who want to filter targets by track, round, and amount, or track the latest holdings of leading institutions;
- Project parties: Those who want to study the investment frequency, preferred tracks, and stages of target institutions to improve financing matching efficiency;
- Industry researchers: Those who need traceable financing data for trend analysis, replacing the chaotic media reports;
- BD and marketing teams: Those who need to discover recently funded projects and explore cooperation and client leads.
Background: Why is a financing database with 'source links' needed?
There are three old problems with crypto financing information:
Inflation: Some projects exaggerate financing amounts or fabricate investors;
Lag: Media reports are often days late compared to announcements and do not make subsequent corrections;
Fragmentation: The amounts and round descriptions of the same round of financing are inconsistent across different channels. Each piece of RootData's financing data is attached to a source link, providing credibility references for inflated financing; the data is structured to support precise filtering by track, round, amount, and investors.
As of October 2026, the section has recorded over 10,300 financing events, covering over 21,000 projects and over 6,900 investors.
What functions do the two views provide?
1. Financing Events View. Lists projects, rounds, amounts, valuations, dates, sources, and investors. The left-side filter covers: tags (infrastructure, AI, Layer1, Layer2, DePIN, gaming, DeSci, DeFi, RWA, etc.), amounts (<
100M in seven tiers, supporting custom minimum and maximum values), latest valuations, financing dates, ecosystems, investors, financing statuses, regions, and Token statuses. An asterisk after the investor name in the list indicates a lead investment mark, and +N indicates the number of investors not fully displayed.

2. Investor View. Can switch to view the investor database, with filtering dimensions including venture capital types (crypto-native funds, comprehensive venture capital funds, crypto project venture capital departments, traditional enterprises and their funds, crypto projects, investment DAOs, angel investors), establishment time, regions, operational status, and investment time range. The list displays establishment time, recent investment time, investment frequency (in the past year), cumulative investment count, and total fundraising amount. Sorting by 'recent investment time' shows which institutions are still actively investing.

Three typical use cases
Tracking smart money: In the investor view, sort by 'investment frequency (in the past year)' to identify active institutions; click on the institution name to view its recent investment records and reverse filter the tracks it frequently invests in as a reference for selection.
Monitoring track funding heat: In the financing events view, overlay 'AI tag + recent 30 days date' to see the number and amount distribution of financing in that track; combine with RootData Research's monthly brief to assess the cycle's heat.
Due diligence on a single financing: After seeing a financing news for a project, check the source link and lead investor in the record to verify the amount and valuation criteria, avoiding being misled by marketing materials.
Usage restrictions
- The list data is sourced from the page snapshot on October 16, 2026, and financing records are updated in real-time as they are disclosed; the total statistics are based on the current display on the page;
- Some records show amounts or valuations as '--', indicating undisclosed or unverifiable information, not representing that financing has not occurred;
- Financing data is bounded by public disclosures, and coverage of undisclosed small financings, OTC, and debt transactions may be incomplete;
- Lead investment marks and investor lists are based on announcements and source links, and there may be cases where equity changes after announcements are not updated in sync;
- The currency conversion and valuation of historical financing amounts may have discrepancies in criteria, so caution is needed when making vertical comparisons;
- All data does not constitute investment advice.
