About zkMe
zkMe is a zero-knowledge credential network for on-chain applications that turns KYC status, age, jurisdiction and anti-Sybil checks into reusable proofs instead of handing ID documents to every dApp. Users complete OCR and liveness checks on their phone, the document data stays on the device, a Groth16 circuit generates a zk-SNARK locally, and an MPC-sharded node network verifies it before minting a soulbound credential to the user's wallet. Applications receive only a boolean answer through a widget or the OpenAPI, never the name or document number.
It sits where compliance meets privacy. Against centralised KYC vendors, it keeps data custody on the user's device and lets verifiers read only the credential state; against iris-based personhood systems such as Worldcoin, it attests attributes such as jurisdiction or accredited-investor status rather than uniqueness of the person. Credentials are replicated per chain and verified on EVM networks including Linea and Mantle, with issuer, verifier and holder roles separated across contracts.
On February 1, 2026, zkMe launched zkKYC, a decentralized identity-verification solution using zero-knowledge proofs and meeting FATF compliance. It has integrated with the TON blockchain and connected to Canton Network for reusable KYC credentials. On May 25, 2026, its mobile app reached v1.4.6 with about 28,000 downloads.
Future strategy and roadmap: zkMe will keep expanding its cross-chain zero-knowledge KYC credential network, bringing reusable, privacy-preserving compliant identity to more public chains and institutional use cases.
