About Standard Money

Details

Standard Money is a synthetic dollar protocol built on BSC, offering USDsd (synthetic dollar) and its staking receipt sUSDsd. Users deposit USDT or USDC as collateral to mint USDsd, which is pegged 1:1 to the US dollar. The protocol then automatically executes a delta-neutral strategy by shorting perpetual futures and longing spot assets, hedging price volatility while earning funding rates and basis yield. These earnings are automatically distributed to sUSDsd holders, enabling compound growth. For risk management, the protocol employs multi-signature smart contract control, time-locks on critical parameters, institutional-grade custody, multi-exchange hedging, 24/7 monitoring, and emergency pause mechanisms. It also maintains a reserve fund to cover extreme scenarios such as negative funding rates, ensuring USDsd's peg stability while pursuing yield.
