About Peapods Finance
Peapods Finance is a permissionless, modular DeFi protocol deployed on Ethereum that lets any ERC-20 asset become the foundation of a self-sustaining financial system. Its core unit is the Pod, a smart vault that wraps a base token (TKN) into a synthetic token (pTKN) tradeable on DEXes; third-party arbitrage is taxed by the protocol, and those fees are recycled into real yield within the system.
Around Pods, the protocol offers Volatility Farming (yield rises with volatility and liquidity depth without relying on new token emissions), Leveraged Volatility Farming (depositing only the pTKN side and borrowing the paired asset to open an amplified full-range LP position while retaining full exposure to the original asset), self-lending with Proof of Demand (bootstrapping lending markets through a flashloan-style loop), governance-directed Metavaults, and vlPEAS-based governance voting plus protocol revenue distribution. By turning volatility itself into a yield source, Peapods positions itself as providing sustainable liquidity and yield infrastructure for token communities without inflationary emissions.
Fundamentals: DefiLlama shows ~$29.8K in 30-day protocol revenue, $2.03M cumulative revenue, and ~$1.64M TVL; PEAS rose from ~$1.47 in early August to ~$2.04 by mid-October, with market cap around $20.1M.
Holder incentives: 60% of protocol revenue is converted into PEAS for vlPEAS holders, of which 5% is burned; roughly $3.21M of PEAS (15.96% of market cap) is staked.

Peapods Finance configures each Pod with a Wrap Fee and an Unwrap Fee, at example rates of 0.25% and 0.5%, charged when converting TKN into pTKN and pTKN back into TKN respectively.
Peapods Finance lets users bypass the 0.5% Unwrap Fee by waiting a predefined cooldown period, and routes all fees through a Pod-specific revenue split between LP rewards, partner share and pTKN burns.
