About Hyperbeat
Hyperbeat is a staking and liquid staking protocol in the Hyperliquid ecosystem: users delegate HYPE to validators the protocol operates and receive transferable beHYPE receipts whose value accrues staking rewards, usable elsewhere onchain, with a seven-day unlock and a fee for instant redemption.
It targets the liquidity conflict in HYPE staking, where native delegation requires an unbonding wait during which assets sit idle, a particular concern for institutions. beHYPE turns a locked staking position into a transferable share at the cost of an extra contract layer and validator selection risk. The protocol excludes foundation-affiliated validators to emphasize independence and offers institutional staking interfaces. The risk is validator performance and contract safety: a slashing event or a contract bug hits the receipt's value directly.
Hyperbeat, the liquidity yield protocol built on Hyperliquid, launched its validator node in July 2024, marking its initial entry into the ecosystem. It gained early traction through community-driven initiatives and was later recognized by Project Hunt as the protocol with the most new Top followers within seven days, reflecting growing ecosystem attention. In August 2025, Hyperbeat completed a $5.2 million seed round led by ether.fi Ventures and Electric Capital, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Chapter One, Selini, Maelstrom, Anchorage Digital, and HyperCollective community members. This funding supports its mission to build permissionless financial infrastructure, enabling users to earn yields, stake, and spend directly from on-chain portfolios. Key long-term milestones include the development of core products such as beHYPE (liquid staking token), Hyperbeat Earn (high-yield vaults on HyperEVM), Morphobeat (credit layer for vault-based lending), and Hyperbeat Pay (banking alternative), positioning Hyperbeat as a foundational revenue layer within the Hyperliquid ecosystem.
Hyperbeat launched Liquid Banking on April 8, 2026 — a non-custodial on-chain account layer on Hyperliquid that unifies trading, saving, borrowing, payments, and fiat on/off-ramps within a single self-custodial smart account. The release was built with Paxos Labs (powering the native stablecoin beatUSD with USDG0) and fiat-rail provider Noah (offering ACH, SEPA, and FedWire settlement), and shipped the Hyperbeat Pay Visa card with a Credit Mode that borrows stablecoins instantly against collateral such as BTC, HYPE, and ETH via Morpho Blue.
Future strategy and roadmap: Going forward, Hyperbeat is deepening this on-chain "liquid banking" layer: while preserving self-custody and verifiability, it plans to onboard more asset classes and global fiat rails, expand Hyperbeat Pay's online and offline spending, and use the closed loop between USD+ yield and card-spending credit so saver returns scale with consumer credit demand — aiming to fold banking, payments, and trading entirely into the Hyperliquid execution environment.

Hyperbeat's help center states that its trading fee is 2.5 bps of traded volume, corresponding to $250 per $1 million traded.
Hyperbeat's affiliate program takes a cut of referees' trading fees and card cashback, with commission rates of 5% under $1M of network 30-day trading volume, 8% between $1M and $10M, and 12% above $10M.
